TURNING CAPABILITIES
At Kavon Machine our focus is in custom precision lathe work with heavy turning capabilities. We can turn various types of shafts up to 67” in diameters, 35’ in length and 65,000 lbs in weight. Capable of holding 0.0005” tolerance on diameter and runout, 8 rms finish with certified and up to date measuring instruments.
Some of the various types of shafts we machine include but are not limited to: fan shafts, drum shafts, eccentric shafts, crank shafts, crusher shafts, mandrel shafts, swing jaw shafts, pinch rolls, drive shafts, head shafts, leveller rolls, turbine shafts, generator shafts, auger shafts and tie bars.
